Formal
attires are divided into men’s tuxedos and women’s dresses. In general,
formal dresses are ones that are suitable for a serious occasion or
ceremony.
Man's Tuxedos
Morning
coats, also known as dinner jackets, are usually worn in daily lives.
Grey or black is often adopted for the upper outer garment which has a
round rear. The upper garment stretches to one’s kneels and only bears
one button on the chest. The bottom part always employs dark or black
stripped trousers. People tend to use braces and wear white shirts with a
tie in black、grey
or camel. Black socks and a pair of black leather shoes are necessary
while a black top-hat is optional. Morning coats is a form of formal
attire worn at daytime, in which gentlemen can attend celebrations,
wedding ceremonies or worships on Sundays in churches.
Dinner
jackets are also known as dinner coats or dinner suits. People often
wear them for parties at night. The upper part of dinner suits are
almost same with normal suits that are usually white or black on the
whole with satin stitched on the collars. A pair of black trousers with
silk ribbons or belts would be a perfect match for the bottom part. As
for the adornments, a black bow tie and black shoes are quite enough yet
hats or gloves are rare seen on such occasions where evening parties、galas、concerts or dramas are held.
Full
dress suits are also called tuxedos. With a black or dark blue coat,
satin-stitched collars, a waist-high forward swing, it a full dress suit
often has its rear cut like a sparrow’s tail. Like the dinner jackets,
it also employs a pair of black or blue trousers with a silk belt as its
bottom part while the outer thighs are stitched with black silk
.Braces, white bow ties, top hats, black shoes and black silk socks are
can all be taken into consideration. Full dress suits belongs to evening
suits so that they can be always seen on evening parties, balls,
receipting meetings and so forth.
On
one’s wedding ceremony, the bridegroom plays as an important role as
the bride, thus, with complete preparations, the bridegroom can be the
most attractive one as well on the ceremony where ladies and gentlemen
in fantastic dressings are countless. Therefore, as long as the
bridegroom would not ignore the importance of himself, the guests shall
never forget his existence. Unlike being on usual formal occasions, the
bridegroom can try some bright colors like red, purple or grey on his
own weddings apart from the traditional black or white. Whatever the
bridegroom would like to choose, showing his specific style or being
traditional and noble, he should keep it in mind that his suit must
match the bride’s dress. The newly-married couple may have to attend
several dinners in one day and change their attirements accordingly,
they should always consider each other’s appearance when they are
selecting what to wear next.
